Goodbye days for Nayanthara:

Sensuous Nayantara, who has been entertaining film lovers with her acting skills and skin shows, has decided to bid goodbye to the film industry after her marriage in June. She is tying the knot with choreographer-turned-director Prabhu Deva.

Nayan has reportedly opened up on her marriage for a magazine. The actress has said that she would quit films, as she would like to spend more time with her family post-marriage. Of late, she has not signed any film and she has to complete Telugu movie ‘Sri Rama Rajyam’ before wedding.

Prabhu Deva and Nayantara marriage is reportedly being held in Chennai. However, Prabhu Deva is yet to get divorce from Ramalatha and they have filed a petition for it by mutual consent in December.
Nayanthara and Prabhu Deva to own a house jointly:

Marriage plans of Nayanthara and Prabhu Deva are said to be going on in full swing these days. After the legal divorce with Ram Lath, Prabhu Deva will be marrying his girl friend Nayantara, who he I dating from the past 3 years.

There were reports that the couple is spending almost Rs 25 crores on the amount of alimony, which will be paid in two installments to Ramlath, first wife of Nayanthara in May 2011.

It is now reported that Nayanthara has hired a real estate agent, who is looking out for a suitable house in and around Chennai. The actress has committed to the real estate agent that the house will be owned on jointly by her and her beau.

Nayanthara starts bookish cooking:

It is a fact that Nayanthara is said to be living separately in a rented house in Kochi. The actress is said to be busy, preparing bookish food dishes these day. According to reliable sources, Nayanthara wants to be a perfect wife and so is learning coking these days. The actress as ignorant about cooking, all these days. Nayanthara Prabhu Deva fight on wedding arrangements:

But the happiness ended soon on the discussion of the venue and arrangements. At first Nayanthara wanted her marriage venue in Chennai. Prabhu Deva wanted the marriage venue in Hyderabad. At last the couple came to agreement and Chennai was finalized.

But now, Prabhu Deva wants to have the marriage done in a simple way. But since Nayanthara is wedding for the first time, she wants it in a lavish way. Moreover, Nayantara is a Christian and so wants her reception in church premises in Kerala. And Prabhu Deva is said to be not interested in having a reception and that too in a church in Kerala. He wants to finish off everything in one go and in one venue. Prabhu wants the reception be organized on the same night of the wedding.

Nayanthara was not comfortable while attending awards ceremony:

South Indian glam doll Nayanthara was spotted in Kochi and was seen attending the awards function. The actress came up in an Anarkali dress and sat in the seat allotted to her what was the surprise was that the actress did not mingle or was comfortable with her colleagues.

She was silent and posed for some shutter bugs initially. After receiving the best actress award from Vijay for her role in ‘Bodyguard’ Nayanthara vanished in her car from the function. Sources close to her suggest that, after the big controversy, she is embarrassed and doesn’t want to mingle with her colleges from the industry as well. She is only in touch wit Vijay and Ajith for now.

May be she will change her attitude when she married Prabhu Deva in Chennai in the month of July 2011.

Nayanthara tells to stop talking rubbish:

South Indian glam doll Nayanthara has asked the media to stop talking rubbish or writing against her. The actress is in the news, with the latest controversy. There are reports that, Nayanthara is being threatened by simbhu with a video, which is filled with the pair getting involved in a physical relationship.

But Nayanthara has asked the media, to stop publishing rubbish as there is no such thing in existence. Moreover, she also described that the whole rumor is baseless and Simbhu is not in contact with her from October 2006.

Nayanthara bags 13th Asianet best actress award:

South Indian glam doll, Nayantara has bagged the 13th Asianet film award in the best actress category. The actress was seen in the role of pretty lass in 2010 hit ‘Bodyguard’. For this reason, the actress was awarded with the Asianet honor.

The awards ceremony will be held at Kochi on January 9th, 2011. Nayanthara is expected to accompany her beau Prabhu Deva to the awards. The awards will given in almost 28 categories and Mammootty has also bagged the best actor award.

Is Nayan bidding adieu to big screens?

Nayanthara has started to reduce her films. Her films in Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu and Kannada were recently released and were great hits. Because of this she has become the number one actress of the year. Her salary has also escalated.

Offers are pouring on her but she has not accepted any new films. Now, she is acting only in a Telugu film titled ‘Ram Rajyam’. She declined to act in a film which had Venkatesh in the lead role. There is also news that she is likely to marry Prabhu Deva and has also plans to settle in Dubai after her marriage and that is the reason that she is not accepting new films.

When asked Nayanthara whether she is going to quit acting, she said,” I have decided to take a long rest. There is nothing more to tell. The offers poured in to sign in ‘Savithri’ which had Venkatesh in the lead role. Though I liked the story, I was unable to give it shots due my personal reasons.

Nayanthara feels elated to be SITA on screen:

South Indian glam doll Nayanthara has disclosed that she was elated to be a part of the film” Sri Rama Rajyam’. The movie is being made by bapu and Nayanthara will play the character of goddess Sita in the movie. According to sources, Nayanthara is said to play the role of Sita, in the Lava Kusa parva of Ramayana.

Nayanthara has finished her first schedule, shooting as Sita and will be seen in the role of mother of two kids. Actor Balakrishna will be playing the role of lord Rama and the movie will be a summer treat. Nayantara has confessed that she is indeed going for a year long break from films, due to personnel reason, after three months.

Nayanthara romance with Prabhu Deva in Kolkata:

Choreographer turned director Prabhu Deva is busy in Kolkata for a Hindi film shooting, which is said to be taking place at a fast pace. There are reports that Nayanthara, is all set to join the beau on a shooting schedule, in Kolkata.

It is reported that Prabhu Deva started to feel the vacancy of his love and so called on Nayantara to join him on the shooting. Nayanthara will be joining the team on Monday, as she was busy with Christmas mass and celebration.

Nayanthara has no film projects in her hands and so, will be joining her beau, for some coziness.

Nayanthara is living in a rented house, away from parents:

Nayanthara Telugu film Nene Ambani is impressive:

Tamil film ‘Boss Engira Bhaskaran’ has been dubbed as ‘Nene Ambani’ and has hit the screens recently. Actor Arya and Nayanthara play the lead in the film and the movie is said to be a hit in Telugu as well.

The opening day collections were impressive and will be intact for the coming weeked as well. The movie is a good entertainer with family audiences as well and so will get a boost in its ticket sales in this Christmas holiday’s season.

Nayantara was happy to hear about her role, being liked by most of the crowds.

Nayanthara becomes a crowd puller for ELECTRA:

South Indian petite beauty Nayanthara has become a crowd puller for the movie ELECTRA, which is being screened in Kairali theatre. The movie received immense crowd pulling and was jam packed for the special screening at the ‘International Film festival of Kerala.

Shyam Prasad’s ELCTRA is in the news, for its star cast and also the storyline line with screenplay. The movie also featured Manisha Koirala, Prakash Raj and Biju Menon in lead. The cinematography has been captured by Sanu Thomas and the movie will release on December 25th, 2010, which happens to be the Christmas day.

Prabhu Deva is not on talking terms with Nayanthara:

The actress has now bagged another project, which is opposite to victory Venkatesh. The movie is titled as “Savitri” was earlier featuring actress Trisha in lead. Due to some date problems, actress Trisha backed out from the project and Nayanthara accepted the offer. Director Teja is directing this movie and producer D Suresh Babu is producing the movie.

Nayanthara denies rumors of her bollywood debut:

Nayanthara is accused of stealing a husband from a woman and so she is not eligible to play the character of Sita, who is worshipped as a benevolent wife of Lord Sri Rama. Tamil media has started to accuse actress Nayanthara, for playing the role of seetha in the Telugu movie ‘Sri Rama Rajyam” it is official now, that she will be laying Seetha Role in the movie, for which she never deserves.

The actress is accused of breaking a marriage bond, in between the couple Prabhu Deva and his wife Ramlath. So, such kind of woman, who has no character ethics, should also never play the roles of great and goddess wife Seetha on reel as well.

It is also heard that, Nayanthara’s father is making arrangements to make his daughter appear in court, in disguise or away from the media, as his daughter, does not want to be seen captured by the shutter bugs.

Nayanthara as Seetha in Sri Rama Rajyam:

Nandamuri Balakrishna is all set to act as Lord Rama and his wife’s character, which is seetha, will be played by Nayantara. There is news that the controversial actress has postponed her marriage plans, to next year and has signed the project for a big sum of Rs 80 cr, which is not her demand quote now.

There is news that Balakrishna was much impressed by Nayanthara on and off screen, while his ‘Simha’ making and so has recommended her to be seetha. Actress Nayanthara and Prabhu Deva are facing tough time and the latest report has deteriorated their lives even more. The lawyer of Ramlath, wife of Prabhu Deva, handed over a threatening letter to the police, which had a statement that we are going to kill you, if u do not take back the case.

The lawyer also quoted a number, stating that his client Ramlath got a threatening phone call, which was from a female voice, which stated the same statement in words. Prabhu Deva and Nayanthara are supposed to appear in court on November 23rd, 2010 and with the latest threatening letter, the case has turned into an interesting spin.

Prabhu Deva and Nayanthara commit crime by evading Court summons:

South Indian beauty Nayanthara is getting ready for a secret wedding on December 15th, 2010. Earlier, it was reported that Nayanthara and her husband Prabhu Deva were going to marry each other in mid December, 2010. But since, fresh notices were served to the couple, from the first wife Ramlath of Prabhu Deva; the couple postponed their plan to February 14th, 2011.

Evading court summons in the Indian law is said to be a crime and that is according to the Indian constitution. South Indian controversial couple Prabhu Deva and Nayantara, had done the same and have evaded the court summons and by not attending the court recently.

It is a known fact that Prabhu Deva and Nayanthara were issued summons, to attend a court hearing on October 19th, 2010. The two love birds evaded the court summons and did not attend the court on the said date and thus sent a formally request, that they cannot attend the court due to personnel reason.

Thus a fresh set of summons were issued, which read out that on every circumstances, Nayantara long with Prabhu Deva must attend the court on November 23rd,2010 failing which they will be remanded by the police, from their residence and will be presented in court.

Nayanthara gets ready for a secret wedding:

But sources close to them, disclose that Nayanthara is in a hurry to marry Prabhu Deva at any cost in this year and for this reason, her parents are arranging for a secret marriage with her beau Prabhu Deva.

According to the Tamil media sources, Nayanthara and her family seem to be in a hurry to wind of with the marriage by this year end for some reason. Some sources, report that Nayanthara seems to be pregnant and so wants to finish off with the marriage ceremony and wants to migrate to an undisclosed location in early 2011.

South Indian actress Nayanthara faced immense embarrassment when her beau’s first wife Ramlath staged a hunger strike in front of the beauties house and said that she will not move till she gets justice. As soon as the media reported that Nayantara and Prabhu Deva will get married soon, Ramlath reacted to the issue by saying that she is still an official wife of Prabhu Deva. She also added that she has not received an compensation or divorce bid from her husband Prabhu Deva.

Ramlath created ruckus in front of the house of Nayanthara and said that she wants Nayanthara’s elders to come out and speak to her. But after the situation went out of control, on a tip off from police officials, few Kollywood industry’s members went to Ramlath and tries to pacify her.

South scope awards 2010 were a gala event, which was organized on September 19th, 2010 in Hyderabad. The event observed awards ceremony for excellence in different departments of cinema, pertaining to four languages (Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Tamil).

The cynosure of the awards ceremony was actress Nayanthara walking in hand in hand with her beau Prabhu Deva. It is almost official now, hat actress Nayanthara will be wedding Prabhu Deva in coming months and the pair has also disclosed the same to the media.

Although there is no official statement from Nayanthara or her family members, the arrangements for the marriage are said to be going on in full swing and the matrimonial ceremony will be organized in between November – December.

Prabhu Deva pays big price for Nayanthara:

Indian Michael Jackson Prabhu Deva who is now a choreographer turned sensational director in India has paid a big sum as alimony to his wife Ramlath in order to marry actress Nayanthara soon.

In a media interview, Ramlath has accepted the fact that Nayanthara and her husband Prabhu Deva are now free to marry as she has given divorce to her hubby Prabhu on mutual consent. As a result of it, last week, a big sum was transferred into Ramlath’s account in order to take care of her and children.

Reacting to this news source, Prabhu Deva has accepted the fact that he has paid a big sum as alimony to Ramlath. He also accepted that he will stand besides Ramlath in the decisions relating to the children and will always respect her as his first wife in future.

In order to avoid controversies, Prabhu Deva has also clarified that he is in deep love with Nayanthara and so for this reason, had to divorce his first wife in order to marry Nayanthara. He also added that he will not leave Ramlath and will stay as a good friend to her in future.

Nayanthara hints about her film industry quitting:

South Indian glam doll Nayantara was seen in the Tamil movie ‘Boss Engira Bhaskaran’ which hit screens last Friday and is declared a super hit. Nayanthara was seen promoting the film, for the first time on a TV show of a Tamil channel. She is seen on the show ‘Kofee with Anu’ which shows Nayanthara interacting in a jovial mood with her costar Arya.

In the show, Nayanthara almost confirmed that she will be quitting the film industry as soon as she settles down in martial bliss. The actress has not answered any questions regarding her love life and her marriage issue formally.

Nayanthara and Prabhu Deva Getting Married Soon:

Ever since they were spotted together at South Scope Style Awards event last year, there was so much media speculation about their affair.

After much speculation and wait , 2 time National Award winning dancer, choreographer, actor and film director Prabhu Deva has finally confessed his love for actress Nayanthara.

NDTV reports that Prabhu Deva is currently shooting for Santosh Sivan’s movie,said that he is in love with Nayanthara and that the couple will be getting married soon. He also added that it is a personal decision and he prefers not to talk about it to the media.

She even tattooed Prabhu name (P in English and the rest in Tamil) in her hand.

Earlier this year, Prabhu Deva and Nayanthara did a “live” hip-hop performance at the TN Chief Minister felicitate function on February 6 2010.

The rumours are confirmed. Actor-director-choreographer Prabhu Deva has confessed his love for south actress Nayanthara and the two are planning to tie the knot soon.

The duo had been rumored to be dating for the last two years. Now, Prabhu Deva has revealed that the marriage will take place very soon, likely by the end of the year.

Nayanthara has already stopped signing any new project and will now devote herself to clear the pending lot, which includes two films in Malayalam, one in Kannada and one in Tamil. Prabhu said “It is not possible for both to busy in work. I am in love with her and want to spend maximum time with her.”

Nayanthara’s upcoming Telugu movie ADURS is all set to hit the screens on January 13th and the booking of this movie has already began. The movie has passed the Litmus test and has been certified with a U symbol by the censor board. The movie features Young tiger Junior NTR in the movie and is said to be a comedy entertainer. This is for the first time that Nayan is featuring opposite to Junior NTR and is hoping to create waves with this movie.

Nayan is acting as a female lead in the movie “ADURS” which is a telugu film and will share screen space with Junior NTR. It might have been a usual working day for Nayanthara on her birthday on November 18 had her friends not decided to surprise her.

The gorgeous actress was in Hyderabad shooting for a Telugu film with NTR. After the day’s work when Nayan was heading back to her hotel, her phone rang. Her friends called to wish her and tell her about a special party that was organized for her.

Nayanthara donates 2 lakhs to the flood victims:

Nayanthara has shown that she has a kind heart with her recent deed. The actress has donated a sum of Rs 2 lakhs to the flood relief fund of Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka and the actress has asked her other female costars to do so for a noble cause.

It is a fact that Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka were worst affected by floods last month and so need heavy monetary aid in order to solve their problems. So, Nayanthara has donated a sum of Rs 1 lakh each to the two states and hopes that the flood victims will go back to their lives with normalcy very soon.

A saffron saree for Actress Nayanthara!

South actress Nayanthara has been sent a saffron-colored Saree by a fringe Hindu group.

The actress had kicked up a controversy recently when she went to pray at Killikkaavil temple in Kerala while shooting her film ‘Bodyguard’ near Ottappalam. But she allegedly wasn’t allowed entry into the temple because she was wearing a salwar kameez instead of a saree, which the temple’s tradition requires all women worshipers to wear.

Though Nayantara has claimed that the whole controversy is not due to her dress but a couple of miscreants who misbehaved with her, a fringe group called the Hindu Makkal Katchi (HMK) in Kumbakonam has reportedly sent Nayan a saree to “remind her of the South Indian tradition”.

Nayan’s manager, meanwhile, denied having received any package containing a saree. However, since the saree has been sent to South India Artistes' Association, it may take a few days to reach the actress.

Meanwhile, the activists of the aforesaid Hindu group claim they have sent sarees to other actresses as well who dress in revealing clothes in films.

Nayantara is continuing with the shoot of her film in Ottappalam.

Nayantara who broke up with her long time boyfriend Tamil actor Silambarasan a year ago is happy to be single. She says that she is delighted to stay cool and single in the film industry without any link ups. She reacted to the rumors which disclosed that she was in love with Prabhu Deva.

She revealed that she thinks Prabhu as her elder brother and also worships him as her mentor in the film industry. She however added that her closeness with the talented choreographer is misunderstood by the media.

Prabhu Deva choreographs for Actress Nayanthara’s Song?

Award-winning choreographer, dancer, actor and director Prabhu Deva has recently choreographed a dance for Malayalam film Bodyguard at the location of Kottayam, Kerala.

The film stars comedy-turned-actor Dileep and gorgeous Nayanthara. The film is been scripted by the director himself.

Nayantara says ban on her is unfair:

Actress Nayantara says that the ban on her is unfair. The ban is imposed on her by the Tamil Film Producers’ Council (TFPC) and South Indian Artists’ Association.

The ban has come about as director Lingusamy and his producer brother Subash Chandra Bose have filed a complaint stating that Nayantara refused to return the Rs 20 lakh she had taken as an advance from them for their film Paiyya.

Nayanthara was signed for this film opposite Paruthi Veeran Karthi for a record fee of Rs 1 crore. However, the film’s producers, citing global economic recession and cost-cutting requirements, asked Nayantara to take a cut in her remuneration. When she refused, she was dropped from the project and was replaced by Tamanna.

Nayantara says she sat at home idle for three months waiting for his film to start and lost out on a big Telugu and Tamil film. She says her losses are huge and asks who will compensate her for the time and money wasted on the project. She says that the ban on her is totally unfair and smacks of double standards.

Tamil Producers lift ban on Nayanthara:

Within 48 hours of imposing a ban on actress Nayanthara, the Tamil Film Producers Council lifted the ban on her.

According to reports, the rules of the producers council are such that whenever a complaint is received by them against an actor, it should be referred to an arbitration committee which in turn gives opportunity to both parties to state their respective views.

Based on the evidence submitted by both parties, the arbitration committee passes a verdict which will be carried out by the producers council.

In Nayantara’s case this procedure is not followed and therefore the ban on her becomes illegal. The council is said to have rescinded the ban decision after Nayantara’s advocate threatened legal action and also file a suit of damages.

Nayantara no longer banned in Film Industry?

Nayantara is once again free to work in Tamil films after the revoking of a ban imposed on her a few days back.

So much drama has been happening on Nayan’s front of late. The comely damsel was banned by the Producers’ Council and Nadigar Sangam from working in Kollywood after she refused to return the signing amount of Rs. 20 lakhs she had received for a film titled ‘Paiya’.

The film’s shooting could not begin on scheduled date and later Nayan did not have dates to spare and pulled out of the project. The actress alleged that she turned down some big projects for ‘Paiya’ which got delayed and caused her heavy losses.

Nayan’s stand apparently did not go well with the producers’ union and she was consequently banned.

But two days back, a positive development happened. The Producers’ Council and Nadigar Sangam issued a joint statement that the ban on Nayantara was lifted because she had agreed to pay back the signing amount to the producers of ‘Paiya’.

While it is still not clear how much money exchanged hands, it is being believed that Nayan did pull a couple of strings at high places to wriggle her way out of the ban.

Whatever the means, all’s well that ends well.

Nayantara denies the recent rumour:

Rumour mills went into overdrive yesterday that actress Nayantara fainted while shooting a film in Hyderabad.

But the southern beauty is shocked by the rumours because nothing like that happened. Nayan is shooting a 30-day start-to-finish schedule of a Telugu film with Jr. NTR. The movie is being directed by V V Vinayak.

Rumours alleged that Nayantara fainted on the sets due to exhaustion and fatigue, and was taken to a nearby hospital. But Nayantara refutes it vehemently.

“I do not understand why people go about spreading rumours like that. I am doing great! And you can ask any of the crew members at the Hyderabad shooting about my health,” Nayantara, who replaced Ileana in the film, is quoted as saying in a media report.

Besides this Telugu film, Nayan is also working in Malayalam film ‘Bodyguard’. She is also expected to sign a project or two in Kollywood. And unlike other southern beauties like Asin and Shriya Saran , Nayan so far doesn’t seem to have any plan to explore Bollywood.

Actress Nayanthara Banned - In Trouble Now??

Oops, Here it comes the Ban. Tamil Film Producers Council (TFPC) and Nadigar Sangam has banned South India’s top heroine Nayanthara from acting in any further Tamil movies, unless further announcement from them.

Nayantara signed Paiyya for a whopping amount with director Lingusamy. But she backed out in the last minute due to some payment issues. Nayan refused to return the Rs 15 lakhs she had taken as advance according to procucers.

The action has been taken against the actress following a complaint lodged by Subash Chandra Bose, the producer of Paiyya.

The council also requested the Telugu and Malayalam producers association to cooperate with them and not sign Nayantharan for any further films.

Actress Nayanthara out from Surya’s option:

Something really shattering all the dreams of Nayanthara. On one part, she has been facing personal problems after her break-up while at the other end, all her films are continuously flunking at box office and the most shocking part is that she’s been missing out all the good offers. Earlier, she was removed out from Lingusamy’s ‘Paiya’ and then Nayan was bit elated when Surya offered her to pair up with him in K.S. Ravi Kumar’s project produced by Udayanidhi Stalin.

However, all of sudden with the film getting launched shortly, sources have revealed that Nayanthara is out from the film. Earlier, Surya was supportive for Nayan and now with Udayanidhi imposing it strongly, he has no words to help her. 25 films old Nayanathara is celebrating her 25th birthday today.

She is the highest paid South Indian actress, getting one crore plus for a film appearance. After several successful films like Laxmi, Chandramukhi, Ghajini, Billa, Yaaradi Nee Mohini, Tulasi, Boss, Dubai Sreenu and Salute Nayanthara has established herself as one of the most promising, sought-after actresses of South India.

Though her latest film Salute with Vishal did not do well at the box-office, Nayanatara still commands the maximum demand and the highest price.

Nayanatara was born as Diana Mariam Kurien on 8th November 1984 into an Orthodox Syrian Christian family in Tiruvalla, Pathanamthitta District, Kerala. She did her schooling at various parts of India as her father was an Indian Air Force Officer. She joined Marthoma college in Thiruvalla for her bachelors degree in English Literature.

The Cinema Fans' Association is coming up with an awards function on the 12th of October to felicitate incredible talent in the world of Tamil Cinema for the year 2007.

A former judge Jagatheesan along with his team picked out the winners based on the preferences of fans.

Among a host of movies that were released last year, 'Sivaji', 'Billa', 'Kireedom' and 'Periyar' have found favor in many categories. Superstar Rajinikanth, Ajith Kumar and Jeevan with be getting the awards for best actors for the films 'Sivaji', 'Billa' and 'Naan Avan Illai' respectively.

Both the male and female awards for the best character artistes have gone in favor of the film 'Periyar'. Sathyaraj for donning the role of Periyar and Kushboo for playing Periyar's wife Maniammai.

The best Music Director is Yuvan Shankar Raja for the film 'Billa', Best Storywriter for the director of 'Kireedam' Vijay.

Nayantara adamant on fixed salary?

Popular South Indian actress Nayantara reportedly hiked her fee after her films 'Billa', 'Yaradi Nee Mohani' became successful. She reportedly hiked her pay to a whopping one crore for her forthcoming films Ajith's 'Aegan' and Vijay's 'Villu'.

Director Lingusamy is currently producing and directing a movie with 'Paruthi Veeran' fame Karthi in the lead role and Nayantara was roped in to feature opposite him. It had been reported that the production team of Lingusamy had agreed to pay the actress Rs.1.10 crores whilst her demand was Rs.1.25 crores. The reports also add that a lump sum was paid as advance.

After 'Kuselan' and 'Satyam' did not do well at the box office, the producer reportedly wanted Nayantara to lessen her pay. But the actress was quite adamant for what she had asked for and was even ready to walk out of the project.

Nayanthara is in Zweisimmen(see below photo) in Europe on location of Villu along with Vijay, Prakash Raj, director Prabhu Deva, cameraman Ravi Varman - 40-member crew is put up in this exotic Swiss location.

Zweisimmen is a municipality in the district of Obersimmental in the canton of Berne in Switzerland.

The unexpected decision by the Chennai Super Kings Cricket Team to sack actress Nayantara from the post of their Ambassador has upset her fans and the actress too is not happy about the decision. But according to her manager she is yet to receive a written confirmation of the news. Nayantara has expressed her willingness to set right the issue through negotiable talks.

The contract with Chennai Super Kings Cricket Team states that she has to make an appearance at the star launch and team launch functions, interviews and talk shows and promotional videos, but there is no compulsion about the star’s presence in all the matches. There is no valid reason for this termination, she emphasized. She doubted that some of the organizers wanted her out.

Recently the team management said in a press release that they had terminated Nayantara’s contract because she was unable to meet her commitments of regular match appearances as a brand ambassador, due to her tight schedule. They further decided to go with a single star ambassador, Ilayathalapathy Vijay, who will continue to participate in all ground promotions and match appearances.

At present, Nayantara is simultaneously doing four movies in Kollywood, Mollywood and Tollywood - Sathyam and Kuselan in both Tamil and Telugu, Aegan with Ajith and the Malayalam movie Twenty: 20.

Chennai: Owners of the Twenty20 cricket team Chennai Super Kings - India Cements - Saturday sacked actress Nayanthara from the post of brand ambassador for allegedly breaching the terms of her contract.

The company has asked the actress nayanthara to refund Rs.4 million paid to her and threatened legal action if she fails to comply.

Sources in India Cements alleged that Nayanthara stayed áway from the shooting of the promotional video in the company of the Super Kings cricket team, actor Vijay, ace drummer Shiva Mani and singer Hariharan at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium, "falsely" citing health reasons Wednesday. The actress has denied the charge.

Spokesman of a leading event management company claimed that the actress "fraudulently reported sick and admitting herself in a hospital" to stay away from the promotional video shoot.

But the actress nayanthara turned up for shooting two hours later in Hyderabad, the company claimed.

Nayanthara refuted the charges in a statement arguing that she had only signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) whose clauses did not compulsorily stipulate her presence during all matches.

"The organisers did not obtain my call sheet giving sufficient notice for the promotional video shoot as per terms of the MoU. While I have indicated my willingness to take part in future matches, talk shows and promotional videos, my arbitrarily removal from the brand ambassadorship through a press statement is in bad taste and denies me a chance for national exposure," Nayanthara said.

The actress, however, has not said anything with regard to money.

Raghuvaran, who died shortly after the release of Yaaradi Nee Mohini, gives easily his best and most memo- rable performance.

Nayanthara and Dhanush have an ex- cellent on-screen chemistry. She has greatly matured as an actress, and this role demands much of her. It is also no- table that the female lead is given equal treatment, which is rare in most movies but common in Selvaraagavan’s films.

The latest news now is it is the hot Babe Nayanthara is going to act against Rajinikanth in the movie Kuselan. There has been news before that it is either Simran or Tabu who are going to be in the movie. Now it is Nayanthara's name which has come up. If everything will be confirmed then it will be the third movie for Nayantara with Rajinikanth. The first movie was Chadramukhi, then she did a song in Sivaji and now Kuselan.

The other news is that Simran during an Interview with the Tamil Weekly has said that negotiations are still going on about the movie Kuuselan.
